This handmade .925 sterling silver pendant features a beautifully cut and polished fossil sperm whale tooth cabochon. The layers of the tooth in cream and brown colors, which look similar to tree rings, can be seen in the upper left.
 
It was collected and created from start to finish by CFA owner Ashby Gale. The pendant features his hallmark on the reverse. Speaking of the reverse, the pendant hides a lovely surprise. Not only is the back open so you can see the tooth, it cleverly features a whale tail fluke as part of the design.

The teardrop shaped bail opening is nice and wide and can accommodate a larger chain if desired. (Chain not included).

The pendant measures 1.3 inches long from the top of the bail by .85 inches wide by .45 inches tall/thick.
