We're baaaaaack!! The Easter Meg has hidden lots of large shark teeth on Folly Beach and needs your help to find them! This event page is the only place to register for the event and obtain your pass to get in on the fun. We only have 500 tickets available, and last year's 300 sold out in under 3 hours!
Children ages 4-17 are invited to participate in the 2nd Annual Easter Meg Hunt held on Folly Beach at 3rd Street West. Plots of sand are divided for three age groups: 4-6 y.o., 7-12 y.o., and 13-17 y.o. There are plenty of fossils hidden in each plot of sand, and they hide pretty well, so you'll need to keep a sharp eye out for anything unusual!

We're also excited to welcome the Mace Brown Museum of Natural History from the College of Charleston to the Easter Meg Hunt this year! Their paleontologists will be on hand with a table to assist in identifying curious fossils the youngsters find if Ashby is helping another group.
After the main event, you're invited to stroll over to Loggerhead's Bar and Grill for the "after party." Here, you can meet with CFA staff, including MORPHOLOGIE silversmith, Tracy Burlison, have the chance to get some CFA swag and merch, and even discover the equipment used to uncover many of the fossils your children find in the hunt! Oh, and let's not forget about dining on some excellent food prepared by Loggerhead's staff! (The restaurant is still catering to the public during our party, so dining is first come first serve.)
